Studio Metaform is an art-science practice that tackles contemporary dilemmas through creative means, bringing people together to forge new pathways forward.

We merge art, environmental science and participatory democracy into intuitive, educational, and emotional experiences—brought to life through immersive audiovisual and architectural installations.

Founders

Emma Little studied in Montreal and Delft, and received her master’s degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Technology in Delft (NL). Emma is fuelled by a motivation to ground complex societal issues using creative methods. Emma draws from her experience as a dancer (Inertia Modern Dance Collective, Montreal) and teacher of philosophy of technology (Leiden University).

Kaj Boonstra studied in Stockholm and Delft, and received his master’s degree in Architecture from University of Technology in Delft (NL). Kaj creates immersive architectural narratives that blend various media forms, including film, music, and design. He draws from his experience as architect and filmmaker (AFFR 2023).
